No partner or experience necessary.
Have you ever been out on a cold, clear winter’s night and wondered at the stars?
Join us for an evening of movement and firelight as we bundle up and dance, outside, in relationship to the great night sky. Seasoned dance instructor, Maren Waldman, will guide us through simple movement practices in the stone circle, as if the night sky - with all its sparkle and empty space - was our partner. We’ll warm up by the fire and share warm drinks after we dance. Adaptable for all abilities.
All that’s needed is a sense of wonder, a willingness to dance in the cold, and many layers to stay warm!

I am a dancer, educator, and artist in love with Earth. I am here in service to repairing the world through dance, community, collaboration, connection…and joy!
I teach dance classes and private lessons in many styles of dance for teens, adults and elders. My specialties are Swing, Salsa, and Modern/Contemporary.
My creative projects focus on bringing climate change issues to life through dance. I collaborate with engineers, environmental organizations, health educators, scientists, permaculture designers, and other artists working on behalf of a resilient Earth to design meaningful and interactive programs.
