2022 CU Boulder’s Master’s of the Environment capstone Project
In 2022, Dharma’s Garden partnered with CU Boulder’s Master’s of the Environment to host a Capstone Project team. The team worked alongside local conservation professionals to create a baseline assessment report detailing the health and benefits of the landscape to the community at present. This report will be used to create a long-term conservation plan for the land so that Dharma’s Garden can put the land into a conservation easement to preserve its wonder for future generations.

Mary Grace
Mary Grace is from South Carolina and is currently in the Master’s of the Environment program at CU Boulder with a specialization in Sustainable Food Systems. When she’s not in school or working she loves snowboarding, camping and running. She hopes to bring her love of gardening and spending time outside to Dharma’s Garden and is excited to learn more about conservation and ecology, and get involved with the local community.

Tenley Bozzi
Tenley recently moved from the Chicago suburbs to start the Master’s of the Environment program with an intent to align her environmental values with future professional opportunities. Her focus is in Sustainable Food Systems and she is looking to incorporate aspects of this specialization into the coffee industry. Tenley was a dual college athlete, so she loves spending time outside running, hiking, or walking her dog. She is looking forward to working with Dharma’s Garden for the opportunity to work directly with and connect with the land and the surrounding community.

Sydney
Sydney is an avid plant lover, friend, and coffee enthusiast. She’s currently in the Master’s of the Environment at CU Boulder in the Sustainability in the Outdoor Industry specialization. Working with Dharma’s Garden, she brings her love for community and is eager to learn how community greenspace can facilitate ecological resilience, local food growing, and community building all at once.
