Goose Nest!

We noticed one goose didn't want to come out of her house this morning, and we were excited to discover that she held built a nest for 11 eggs and had started brooding! She will sit for about 4 weeks, keeping them warm and turning them every day, and if all goes well, we may have more geese than we know what to do with! We've learned that a goose's first clutch of eggs often produces no successful hatches, but we're hoping.
